Washing your Shock Covers | |
Don't put your Shock Covers in the washing machine. They'll get lost. |
All you need is a small plastic container with an air tight lid, a 1/2 teaspoon or less of laundry detergent (depending on the size of container you use) and hot water from the faucet. |
Fill the container half-way with hot water, add laundry detergent (liquid or powder) and toss in your crusty Shock Socks. Seal the lid to the container and shake the heck out of it. For heavily soiled Shock Socks you may want to let them sit in the container for 5 to 10 minutes and rub them together before shaking a second time. Drain the soapy water and refill with fresh water, shake for about a minute. |
Remove the Shock Covers and run them under the faucet to remove any excess soap. Squeeze the remaining water and lay them out to dry on a towel or in the sun. Do not assemble your Shock Covers onto your shocks until you are sure they are completely dry. Generously re-coat your Shock Covers with ScotchgardTM for the best protection.
